Acceptable Use Policy

Last updated: 25 August 2026

CleanTrade is a non-custodial USDT (TRC20) payment confirmation API. We do not hold funds and do not process payments ourselves — we only confirm that a transfer matching your order happened on-chain. Still, we are responsible for what our service is used to facilitate, and we reserve the right to suspend or terminate any account that violates this policy.

What you may NOT do

You may not use CleanTrade to accept payments for, or in connection with:

Merchant responsibility

You are solely responsible for what you sell, for your own KYC/AML obligations where they apply to you, and for your buyers' privacy and consent. CleanTrade never holds funds, so refunds and disputes are settled directly between you and your buyer on-chain.

Enforcement

We may suspend or terminate API access at any time for conduct that violates this policy, harms CleanTrade's infrastructure or reputation, or risks our hosting providers and partners. Where required, we will cooperate with law enforcement.

This policy is a living document. We will update it as the product and legal landscape evolve. Questions: @CleanTradeSupport_bot.
